These terms cover registering for and taking part in a Scholars' Guild Research Mentorship round. By registering you agree to them. Scholars' Guild is run by Dr. Sumia Fatima, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Registering for a round
Rounds run in intakes. You register for one Study Design per payment — Systematic Review & Meta-Analysis, Cross-Sectional / Case-Control, or CDC WONDER Analysis. Places in a round are limited and are confirmed only once your payment has been verified.
Creating an account is free. Until your payment is verified your account is unverified and shows you the payment window only. Registrations that are never paid receive a reminder and then expire.
Fees, payment and verification
Fees depend on your region (detected from your phone's country code) and on whether you register as a student or a postgraduate. The current fee is shown to you before you pay. Discounts and installment arrangements — including the 10% discount for registering together with friends — are agreed with us before payment, not applied automatically.
Payment is made directly to the bank, wallet or PayPal account shown in your payment window; we do not use a payment gateway and never ask for card details. After paying, you upload your receipt. Director Research checks receipts within 24 hours — usually much faster — and your account is then activated and your place confirmed. If a receipt cannot be verified we will tell you why and you can upload a corrected one.
Cancellations and refunds
If you need to withdraw, or if you believe you have been charged in error, contact us first at sumiahfatima3@gmail.com or on WhatsApp — every case is handled individually. If life gets in the way mid-round you can pause and resume free of charge and rejoin a later round rather than lose your place.
Your work, authorship and publication
You keep the rights to the work you produce. Authorship is assigned among the first five authors, based on contribution, and publication is guaranteed as long as data collection is completed — the program cannot guarantee an outcome for work that is never finished, and it cannot control a journal's peer-review timeline.
You agree to do your own work honestly: no fabricated data, no plagiarism, and full cooperation with the internal quality review before anything is submitted to a journal. Work that fails that check is not submitted. We may publish your name, affiliation and the finished article on this website.
Conduct, accounts and changes
One account per person, and one role per person per program. Session recordings, templates and course materials are for your own use — please do not redistribute or resell them. Accounts used abusively toward mentors or fellow students may be suspended.
We may update these terms as the program changes; the version on this page at the time you register is the one that applies to your round. Questions: get in touch.
